So yesterday i picked up my new tank, a 57 gallon rimless (i believe it's an oceanic).
Eshopps PSK 100 skimmer, a mag pump (not sure what size), ecotech led's (will be going ati t5 6x39w + reefbrite led's)
20 or 25 gallon sump, will be adding around 40-50p of live rock and about 50p of sand today.
plan on doing a mix reef. livestock still the question, im thinking a possum wrasse, 2 clowns, 1 small tang and idk what else.
i would appreciate any comments or ideas to help me out. thanks!

Nice! I recently set up the same tank. Take a look at my build thread if you want, maybe you can get some ideas there. Only issue I have with the tank is the size of the overflow box. You may have to move the powerheads around a little before you find a good spot where you can get good flow through the tank. Can't wait to see the progress.

this weekend i plumbed everything up, added some live rock, sand and now have the tank cycling.
will be in going on a vacation, so i'll be getting my T5's, and reef brite next week.
(picked up a head of a rainbow blastomussa, and a frag of jason fox jingle bells cyphastrea for the 12gal til the 57 is ready.)

Love that scape, mine went to something much like this! Should provide plenty of room for coral growth and flow.

I painted the back of my tank and part of the side black to cover the overflow. My tank has a corner overflow. I used to have a black background taped on there, but the paint is a much cleaner look.
