Figured I have lurked on here long enough, so I hope you guys/gals like my new tank. Bought it used from a local club member. Due to being on a tight budget it may take awhile for this to all come together. Any suggestions and criticism is always appreciated.
Equipment list:
150dd and factory mainland stand
Lumatek switchable ballast and lumatek pendant
Aquabox custom sump
Full siphon overflow system
Mag 1200 return pump (temporary want to switch to a dc pump)
Tunze ato
Skimmer ? Possibly Atb

Running with tap water for now to try and loosen up some of the coraline algae so I can clean it so far passed leak test. More to come in the near future but that is the progress as of now.

Going to build out from overflow so it has the look of a corner tank. The sump was well worth the wait and the money imo they went above and beyond on the details and craftsmanship.

Looks good Bobby. Can't wait to see this thing slammed like the 120

Hopefully it soon will be but no frag tanks this time maybe in the future but in the house we live in now there is just no room.

Thinking 2 tunze 6105's with 7095 controller. Not sure if I would ever do vortechs again, don't get me wrong I liked them but I just didn't like that I was restricted to one direction of flow.

Since I am running short of room under my tank I am looking at getting aquabox to build me a 10gal ato reservoir. Picture is black but they can make it in white to match my sump.

I am so stoked and trying my hardest to take my time and do it right this time. Had a ton of tanks in the past and always rushed to get a cycle going but not this time. Thanks for the comments more goodies to come.

Do you have a canopy on yours and do you have a build thread on here. Just curious how much evaporation you get.

I do utilize the canopy with just a screen top. I would want to estimate maybe a gallon to gallon and a half evaporation per day. I had the tank running 2 years prior to joining r2r, so no build thread. We have 2 forums in michigan that i try to keep up with, lol
