No pics for the water test. Just running water through the plumbing.

I wanted to use white vinyl 3/4in hose for return but had no luck:( So I went with black. Two reasons Im going with a colored vinyl, one is that I like the look but second and most of all it doesn't allow light to penetrate and for algae and coraline to grow in the tubing. The heater I'll be using are the EHEIM JAGER 150 watt x 2. No insulation underneath the floor so in the winter time the floor gets pretty chilly.

Ha!! W-A-T-E-R!! Well....I went to my LFS and someone bought the whole box of Real Reef Gen 4 so didn't get to have a look at it. I'm with in a couple weeks of adding water.

Sorry Andy, it appears we have used the white vinyl we had for something, I don't think I had 10ft though, maybe 3... Black will look great though, that's what I used in my white set up.

Here is my DIY power sources. Nothing too fancy but pretty efficient. Found a wood box to hold the Lumatek's, wife liked the the box so much she wanted to use it for another project:)

Very creative, looks awesome. Where'd you get the box? I like the lined openings in the back, and with the grey wire tubing and the purple ballasts it really pops. Now you need some strip colored LEDs to really show them off! lol
I am looking forward to seeing all the things you come up with for electrical/wire storage. I've been searching for ideas for when I redo the inside of my stand and add my Apex.
