So since this contest wants to post here I suppose this is finally the kick I need to start a build thread. I'm building a 93 gallon marineland cube, custom stand, custom sump, vertex omega 180i, 3x kessil a360ws. It is very much in the planning stage. Have the tank and working on lights and other equipment to have final up and running by December. Here is the 16 gallon bowfront next to the 93

stand as it sits now and current tank as of yesterday

So I know this build thread will be slow, but today I ordered return pump, and bought the lexan sheets for the baffles in the sump. I'll be using a 29 gallon standard glass aquarium until I get enough money for a custom rig made or ordered. Waiting on the dollar gallon sale to pick up the 29. Next order will be about 75lbs of BRS pukani rock. Will be curing it and treatimg with L/C to rid it of phosphates then cure with zeobak as a starter. Before I start the curing though I will be getting the aqua scape finalized and it will be stacked and cured as it will sit in the display, fixed with PVC rods. Hope to have some more progress soon and more pics.

Also, if anyone is even reading my posts lol, for building the sump would regular structural strength silicone be sufficient to hold acrylic in place, considering my own custom sump and making it all out of acrylic.

You should be good with whatever silicone that you want to use, once there is water on both sides, there isn't too terribly much pressure. Love the rimless cube look, good luck!

Just got access to the woodworking shop on the airforce base I'm stationed at so use of the table saw and router table will make it much easier for the sump to go together without issues. So I'm going to use weldon 4 probably. Also looking at ideas on an adjustable water level in the sump similar to the new trigger sumps
