Well I have had a 20L mixed reef setup since February. Decided it was time to go bigger. Picked up a 75 from a buddy, built a stand and finally got it set up and all switched over. Tigerdragon is letting me use a PC/MH light for the time being. I am still kind of torn on what lighting I want. I think I am leaning toward T5. Thats what was on my 20 and I really liked it and it grew well.


75G All Glass Aquarium

30G custom sump with refugium Par38 bulb
Lighting = PC/MH for now.
4 Hydor Korilias for now

Thank you! I've always wanted to do black sand. Well it came with the tank so I figured I might as well! I am also excited to have a viewable fuge area.

Following along! So you will be just transferring livestock ? Or will you add other critters as well?

It's all already transferred. I will be adding alot more corals and a few fish once I know everything is settled.

Well My buddy in Idaho made me a deal I couldnt pass up. Got 2 of the value reef breeders LED lights that are a month old for $150 shipped. They should be here monday. If I dont like them I will just run the blues with my T5's when I get them or resell them lol. Its nice to find people that need money haha.

I threw my t5 on there to take some pics. With the light that's on my tank I thought maybe my pieces were turning brown but the t5 proved they are doing great. Couldn't stop taking pics. Some stuff has no PE cause i was messing with it lol

Finally fragged my grow out station. They are radioactive dragon eyes.

Got my leds. (Thanks Slowngreen) I love them. It's hard to get the color it looks like in person in pics but the color is so amazing. Now hopefully they grow stuff Haha. Here is a couple pics that are almost the color it is in person.

Also made a looking glass out of PVC and Lexan to take top down shots. Pretty cool.

Well despite the new tank syndrome brown algae that will go away my tank seems to be doing awesome and I am stoked about it and these lights. Here is a few pics cause I can.

Well due to a infestation of Monti eating nudis... I decided to set my 20L back up plumbed into my system to q/t the montis and house my nem. The DT goes through a filter sock so the nudis shouldnt be able to get over to the 20L plus I will dip every 3-4 days just to be sure. Got it all set up and going. I am pretty stoked with it honestly. New projects are always fun. The Anemone that I had in my fuge I found out is a Bali True Rose. It looks so amazing under the T5's. I also put a six line and a springeri damsel in it. I have always wanted one. I dont know if I like the bare bottom but I guess it will grow on me. I am just glad to get it all done and running. On to the pics...

Everything seems to be doing well. Few pics of my new zoas. I won a zoa garden at our local club christmas party its awesome. I separated them but I ran out of plate plugs so some are still on one plug lol. Also first time trying to keep red dragon. See how it grows.
