This is my first Reef Tank. I have done fish only tanks in the past but about 4 months ago I had the opportunity to take over a tank from a fellow military family going through difficult times. I feel like I learn something new about reefing everyday, and I welcome all advice! I call this tank the "Tang Reef" because I have 3 good sized tangs in the tank and they get along surprisingly well. TIA and I hope you enjoy my tank!

Some quick shots of the new LED strips I installed today running standalone tonight. I'm impressed since they were $4 each and a meter long each. I'm almost afraid they're too bright for moonlights... Thoughts?

I used to leave my moon lights on all night but my corals didn't respond well. I'd use them more for dawn/dusk and supplemental(if bright enough)

The fish don't seem to want to go to bed with them on, I'm afraid of stressing them out. I'm planning on getting a dimmer for them, but a timer seems like a good idea too.
