The new maxima - I love this clam. It was looking a little rough a week ago but has started to come around.
IMG_3313.jpg

the pearlberry. It is one of the corals that has taken really well to the T5s - all of the branches on the left side of the pic are growth since the sunpower was put above the tank

Thanks guys! I have had some issues with swinging alk lately and there is some tissue loss at the base of some acros. I will post some new pics in a couple weeks after they have recovered.

Thanks! :)

Please tell me what the coral is covering the rock, bottom right? Thank you. Most beautiful, healthy looking tank :)
It's a sunset monti I have had in a few different systems over the course of 5 years.

Beautiful job, amazing what you did with 40 gallons!
Thanks!

Some updated shots of the tank-
Joe the Coral
IMG_3340.jpg

The pearlberry looking better and better every day
IMG_3343.jpg

purple valida
IMG_3344.jpg

red planet is getting more green body with the T5s
IMG_3345.jpg

this nasuta is start to do something... finally! You can see a few branches forming on the sides
IMG_3346.jpg

this is what is left of my SSC after the alk swings. I saved about half of the colony. The plus side is it is encrusting quickly and is coloring up so it should be smooth sailing for now
IMG_3347.jpg

red dragon had some issues with the alk swings too, lost a bit of tissue at the base of some branches
IMG_3348.jpg

the miyagi is hitting its stride and starting to grow now after i lost the colony last year
IMG_3349.jpg

I couldn't get a decent pic of the steve elias blue stag without zooming way out. It is growing quickly
IMG_3351.jpg

and the front tank shot for February

Amazing! Tank looks great man, I'm in the process of setting up a 40 gallon sps tank. Hopefully it's half as nice as this.

Awesome tank! Did you make the rocks under the clams or did you buy them?

Thanks man!

I bought them on eBay from The Alternative Reef. I could make them myself, but at $3.00 a piece shipped I would rather not spend the time buying the materials and making them.

New ASD rainbow mille. It is a small piece, but it has some nice color.
IMG_3360.jpg

Nice shot of the growth from the Steve Elias blue stag, but also has a view of the 3rd reboot of the same hawkins I have had (and lost 3 times) for years now. Also, you can see some of the green birdsnest growing. Now sure what I am going to do about that.
IMG_3361.jpg

Bad pic of the miyagi tort. It is growing well and recovering from the STN from over the summer. I moved it higher because my GBTA was moved and was a little too close to it for my liking. It is higher and is getting more flow now I think. It is a happy coral.
IMG_3362.jpg

and my beast of a setosa. This coral is really taking over the rock it is on. I fear I may have to do some serious pruning in a couple months.
