Greetings,

pretty new to reef2reef and to reefing as well... have been hanging here silently often finally thought to start up a thread....

i have been in the hobby since i was a kid but on the fresh side...

like every kid starts off with i also started with a fish pot with gold fish and that died soon... as time passed by i slowly grabbed the opportunity and bought a small 2 feet tank, but with lots of mistakes and bad suggestions of LFS i killed each and every fish that i bought... months and years passed and i started reading books and got the basics correct and then the real hobby started...

had 9 tanks at one point of time from fish only to planted to Tanganyikan to goldies to flower horns and what not....

right now work is keeping me busy so just have 1 reef tank

My tank Details

display : 36 X 24 X 16 inches, bean animal external weir

Sump : 30 X 22 X 16 with 3 baffles

display light : 2 nos of Kessils A350W (have ordered zetlight 6600 and will soon start using it)

Stand : Iron fabricated stand

Hood : closed hood

Salt : Red Sea Coral Salt Pro

water Change : 20 Ltrs Every alternate day

skimmer : Reef Octopus XP 1000 INT

ATO : Manual every day around 8 Ltrs

filteration : Filter Socks, Skimmer, ATS and sometimes when something dies I use Carbon

any info left ? :D

this tank started 3 years back as just Fish only system and as many of you soon get hooked to coral addiction

enough of pics here comes few videos and pics :) sorry for the crapy iPhone pics .... this tank have seen quite a few ups and downs in life... have leaked 3 times in home, have seen 3 times house shifting ...

for some reason i am not able to attach the video but ll try once again...

please comment on the tank and your valued suggestions are most welcome...

thank you for taking time out to go through my thread...
