Gonna look great! one question though - why the egg crate? You're not worried about trapping detritus at the bottom over time?

I did that with eggcrate and sand and my sand turned hard as rock in some areas, i would advise against it fyi.

I have used it with every other tank I have done with no problems at all it allows displacement of the rock weight on the glass and I plan on vacuuming my sand bed

The aquatic life pump has an auto flush system built in also a low and high pressure shut off to increase the booster pumps life and its all neatly packaged inside the case

Makes sense to spread the weight. Maybe I should consider that with my next build. What skimmer did they provide with the tank? I have their PLS-100, huge upgrade from what I had. Once dialed in it works great. Look forward to your updates!

I just added the Dr.Tims one and only and the ammonia to start the cycle, I also changed up the rock a little bit because I wanted more areas for the acans and zoas to grow. I'll take pictures when I get home today of the rock and I also have to check the tank for ammonia if its already gone and into nitrite (under 1ppm) then I can add more ammonia and wait one more day and the cycle will be completed
