So I had a 75 gallon mix reef tank with an external overflow box. I was never really comfortable with that overflow box but it never gave me any problems the 2 1/2 years that I had it running. It was just noisy. I started looking for a drilled reef ready tank and it had to be 100g plus. But at the time I did not find any that met the criteria. So I came across this 80g Reef ready peninsula tank. I really really wanted a 120g or bigger but just could not wait or justify paying full price to the wife. So I picked up the peninsula tank.

I set it up on a temporary stand so I can clean and sterilize it. First a vinegar bath and scrub. Then drained and refilled and added a little bleach to sterilize it.

Very nice looking set up, I have always wanted a peninsula tank. Can't wait to see this with fish and coral in it.

I'm waitng for my LFS to stock up on more Mocha clowns so I can pair them up. My clown looks lonely and tries to hang out with the gobies. I have a Powder Blue tang in my quarantine tank. He's doing good so far.
