very nice, what are the dimensions of the tank. Are you breaking down your other tanks and consolidating all into one? cant wait for some pics of your great looking corals

Thanks... tank dimensions are (48" x 24" x 22")...

yes, I'll be breaking down my 2 smaller tanks and consolidating into one... hopefully, this will make life a little more simple since we are expecting our 2nd child in October... I thought I'd rather do the upgrade now while we have a little more time... :)

wow this tank is gonna be sick!
Thank you... I'm looking forward as well... it was long overdue... :)

hey guys, pichers posted... just water right now... ;) I did put the LR tonight... there was about 60-70lbs... I think I should have enough LR when I move the contents of the 28g JBJ... :) btw, pics are of the regular output T5's and are actinics only... lastly, I'm just waiting for the coraline algae to get softer, then I'll scrape off the back glass... the goal is to keep it black all the time.. no coraline build up... :)

Thanks Chris... maybe I will... I don't have any experience with acros but I might try some easy ones... I do plan on adding a few colored sticks... I'm thinking of Birds of Paradise, 2 more Birdnest type and some colorful monti digitatas... :)

oh sweet! cant wait to see it packed!
yup, me too bro... :)

Outstanding! That is a great looking set-up. Congrats, can't wait to see it loaded up:wink:
Dave and Lisa
Thank you... :)

That cleared up WAY FAST!!!! Now, get to scraping that old coralline off. ;)
yeah, I know... taking my time since I do have time to wait... LoLz...

about time that you upgrade...also 2 mp40s on a 48" tank sounds good but its a little to much....thats why you ended up with your mp40

:hammer:

cool... more money for fish!!! ;)

I think a wave would look awesome on this set up... I'm thinking of tinkering with the MP 40 on short pulse mode to see what kind of wave I can get.... :)

btw, here's two pics I took real quick last night after preliminary aquascaping... it'll stay an open just like this as I want lots of swimming room for my fairy wrasses... I plan on having between 3" - 4" of clear sandbed on each side to continue the clean look... :)

watcha guys think?
