Sold my old tank and built a new one. The tank is 48x30x20 and will be a slight mixed reef with mostly SPS. All my livestock is being held at a friends house. Yellow Belly Regal and Radiant Wrasse are newer additions. Equipment list is pretty simple. 1 and 1/2" overflows x 2, 40g acrylic sump, ASM G3 skimmer, Mag 7 return, Coralvue 201B's x 2, T5 lighting. Will try to get better pics as I go instead of using the crappy phone camera.

Took some new shots today after getting most of my coral back in. Nothing is really mounted yet until I can see everything is happy in place - and please, ignore the algae... :embarrassed:

Beautiful tank, I love how open it is. Do you have any pics to share of what's down below?

Thanks. Here's a pic of the sump. This is a simple set up. I've run my tanks this way with minimal equipment for years. Fuge, doser and ato will be added soon as well.

Some better pics. Picking up most of my LPS from a friends this weekend. SPS will be staying there for a few more months before placing them into this tank.

Love the scape and how wide it is, great clean cabinet also.

Very nice looking tank. I love the open sand bed towards the front of the tank, gives it great depth.

What type of lighting do you have?

I'm running T5's over it. Still playing with the bulb combo.

great tank. id like to see the rock work end up looking like a crescent moon

Thanks. It's hard to tell in the pics, but that's the shape it's starting to take on. I have some small pieces to extend the end structures out a bit more and taper them down. Not sure when I'll get around to adding them.
