So here is a long overdue update of my tank. This 20 gallon is now a sump and contains a melanarus wrasse and Lantern puffer.I also have two engineer gobies that keep things interesting. Some palys, macro and candy canes as well.

I have added this old picture to show a little more progression.

Here is the main tank with its various corals and a corris wrasse.

And the top 20 gallon long.I have two springeri damsels, lubbucks wrasse, wheelers and a yellow watchman gobie. The watchman is paired with a yellow pistol shrimp of some sort.

You have a great setup, and your corals look to be happy and fully extended (a testament to your dedication), so knowing that you like me, are a reefaholic do you have plans to upgrade to a larger system?

Thank you kindly, I do consider myself dedicated.I am not a reefaholic though-just the enabler.I would really like to recreate this system on a larger scale. It was designed well and I attribute that to my success.Having the different types of substrate in the tanks creates a lot of biodiversity too.

Updates I suppose...

DSCF2884.JPG

Purple rimmed montipora. This picture was taken months ago before it made plates. It makes me sad to see the photo because I recently lost the whole colony.I suspect the cause was high temperatures and phosphate fluctuations.Basically it just rapidly lost color.

These two get along great.I find it fascinating and have noticed that even a nearby chalice will be kind to the sea whip.
