Hey everyone. I'm new to this site but have been in the hobby for many years. I wanted to share my current set up and get a build thread going so here it is.

120 gallon display tank - 48"x 24"x 24"
50 gallon breeder sump
125 lbs Marco Key Largo
LED Fixtures - 2 120W 18k RFI
Mag 18 return
Koralia Wavemake with 2 Koralia 4 pumps
Aqua Controller 1 - Yes, the original... It was donated
BRS Dosing Pumps - 2 1.1mL per minute dosing BRS Calcium and Alkalinity
Spectrapure R/O DI 5 stage with select series membrane. 2 High Capacity DI Chambers
32 Gallon Brute storage container for water storage

I think that about sums up the equipment.

Tank filled 12-4-2012: Fishless Cycle via raw shrimp

Current Critters:

2 false Percula Clowns added January 2012
Foxface Rabbit added end of January 2012
Six line Wrasse added February 2012
Pacific Blue Tang added March 2012
Blood Red fire shirmp - Just one, it is mean and kills all other shrimp I've added. :tsk: I want to eventually catch it and try a pair of skunk cleaners.
Around 12 snails of various kinds
3 blue legged hermit crabs
3 monti caps added in August 2012 - Green, purple, red/orange
Duncan coral, now has 4 heads Added September 2012
Green Crown Leather added September 2012.

Gotta run for now... Will post pictures soon!

Rock work before getting salty.

Sump when I was going to use a refugium but couldn't grow macro algae so now it's just a sump. Also cleaned it all up and organized it a lot better. Skimmer upgrade is in the works.

First attempt at a pair of shrimp. One of them is alive and doesn't allow any other type of shrimp to live in my tank.

Duncan, not that great of a pic. It has grown another head since I've added it.

I need to add some updated pics but these will hopefully satisfy your needs for now.. LOL Enjoy!

Thank you Krista and Tonya. I'll get more and better pics up in the near future. Just had to share what I currently have so everyone can see what I've dedicated my time and resources to.

Nice tank, I have the same size also. Did you leave the checkered board under your rocks?

Thanks everyone!

Saltlife I have eggcrate underneath all of the rock. I don't trust directly placing rock on the glass! You can only see it in one place where the powerhead has blown the substrate away. It look kinda cool though as it has coraline algae growing on it!

Cool, I was wondering if people put the sand down then the rock. Rock on the glass then put the sand around the rock or how it was done.

Eggcrate is placed down first so the weight of the rock is spread out across the glass evenly rather than all the weight on a sharp corner of rock which could crack the glass. Add the substrate last so that way if a critter decides to dig the weight of the rock pile will not collapse on it possibly killing the critter and or other critters!

Show Time

Got the fiance to bust out the big boy camera! With a little research online she did a great job tonight of taking pictures. With a little more research and practice she'll get it dialed in. Here is from this evening... Enjoy!

Purple Monti between the leather and red monti really blends in.
