This was before the crash.
HTML:
I like to keep things simple and sweet up front...
All my Acrylic was 1/4" thick. I went with this based on reading reviews and it was recommended for tanks with a height of 12" or less.

Display Tank:
24x24x12 30g Shallow Cube.

Sump/Fuge:
24x12x12 15g.

Stand:
2x4 special. =p

These three components were built by me. I wish I had the time... I would build everything besides the live stock! (Light, Rock, etc.)
The rest of my set up will be store bought. At the moment I have dual 1' overflows and a 1' return that feeds the center with water. This in return fills up and overflows into the tank creating my flow. It seems sufficient but I'll know more when July 1st rolls around. The tank is currently cycling and its been up for 1 day with 35lbs of sand and 30lbs of rock.

Now after the crash.
I'm running a 30g Finnex AIO tank. I got it from a friend. This tank used to be mine and I gave it to him when he wanted to try out the hobby, now I got it back! It is a good tank!

Drilling x3 1" holes for drains and return.
image(27).jpg

Drilled the overflow holes with a 1/4" bit.

Building the tank. It was much easier than I remembered last year!
image(26).jpg

Finished with dividers and dual overflows with center out flow.

I Did test this outside like the sump, but didn't grab a picture. That feeling when stuff doesn't leak... :D

Here are a couple pictures of my aquascape. The water finally cleared and all was well. I'm feeding the tank flake food and leaving the light on 24/7 until I see green algae. I'm already getting a little brown and its only been about 6 days. I haven't set up a tank in a while, but that seems pretty fast!

Remember I am using an iphone for my photos >.<

Wow! Woke up this morning 4:45am for work and noticed the tank wasn't running. The upper left seem split and was leaking water. What a huge disappointment. I'm going to have to find a new tank to replace my display. I work too much to fix it, 15+ hour days. Sooooo..... Disappointing. :(
