OK, So I started this tank a month ago (cycle) with existing liverock (did a five minute fresh RODI bath to remove unwanted hitchhikers) to breed sexishrimp.

No sump
circulation is one large airstone (bubble wall) and an airline in one corner attached to the heater.

20g long. No water changes so far just top off with RODI twice a week.

Light consists of a simple shop light flourescent...

my stock list (not all are in tank yet)

Frogspawn: $15/head *2 = $30
Mushrooms - $10 & up/polyp * 4 = $40
Ricordea Florida - $20 & up/polyp (depends on color) * 4 = $80
Zoas/Palys - common: $2/polyp (ex. no name, no color) * 20 = $40
Zoas/Palys - nice: $5/polyp * 4 = $20
RBTA: $50 *3 = $150

Total so far = $360... please notify me if I need to adjust prices... all were owened prior to teh contest with a few exceptions that were basically free...

Picture updates...

RRBTA (this is in my 29g main tank, but the ones in the 20g [contest tank] are the same, just not under the best lighting yet...)

Did you do an entry pic with the sign and the ziplock bag? Your supposed to post that pic before you add the livestock.

But the video isn't what the judge asked for. The judge repeated it many times and even posted a pic showing exactly what they wanted Everyone to post before we started adding livestock. I didn't think he wanted to be disqualified because of a technicality. Yes I can see there wasn't any livestock in the tank when the video was posted but it's not following the rules for the contest. That's all I'm saying.

Thanks Revhtree... I wasnt sure and as I commented in the video I didn't have the chance to check back on clarification prior... The nems were in bad shape so I wanted to get them in asap...

could I get a judges perspective on the fmv of my livestock so far? I can post new pics later if needed... Also, Im trading one of the three nems for a skimmer, powerhead and to borrow a better light for during the contest... I have more frags I can add yet and want to make sure I stay under the $500...

So only two nems in the tank now borrowed a MH for the tank and got the powerhead and skimmer for the third nem (now gone).

SO Im guessing the FMV is now at:

Frogspawn: $15/head *2 = $30
Mushrooms - $10 & up/polyp * 1 = $10
Ricordea Florida - $20 & up/polyp (depends on color) * 4 = $80
Zoas/Palys - common: $2/polyp (ex. no name, no color) * 20 = $40
Zoas/Palys - nice: $5/polyp * 6 = $30
RBTA: $50 *2 = $100
galaxia ?
hydnophora ?

Total so far = $290+

Can I get FMV for the two new frags and verification on my new total?

need FMV on a pair of rescue sponges... and ID too... One is for certain a sponge, the other I believe the skinny branching one is also sponge but not sure. I got these given to me and they were almost certainly dead, covered in black and white yuck and reeking... yet I decided to through them in with my spare live rock just in case and sure enough a few days later they started to color back up. SO in the tank they went.

Thanks. I will have to battle that hair algae on that new rock, Thankfully I have an algae blenny (if I can catch him) that will help
