Well, it's a late start, but I wanted to enter anyway. So here goes...

Equipment:
*Mini Bow 7 gallon aquarium
*50 watt Jager heater
*Aquaclear 50 (I will probably only run a sponge in it...maybe some chemipure elite in the future.)
*Ocean Revive LED - Arctic unit

Plans:
*My plans are to keep it very simple with manual ATO and regular WCs of course.

*Coral wise...It will mostly be zoas, palys other lps and maybe a birdsnest or two or a monti. I have a small piece of chili pepper monti I'm thinking on adding.

*I think the only fish I'll add are either a few small gobies or blennies.

If I add that monti...it's value is probably $20 as a frag. Please correct me if I'm wrong once everyone sees it.

Well, here she is!!!

I should add this tank is already cycled because the water came from main display and the rock was already cured.

There may be some cycle that happens, but I doubt I'll notice it. It'll be a week or so before I add livestock I think.

It's weird to me to see another Mr. D. I usually use that handle on other forums. It's equally weird because we live 2 hours from each other.

Good luck in the competition.

There is a very small piece of chili pepper Monti on the rock to the left. At my lfs it would be valued at ~$5.00, but I'll check the rules page.

Cool! I haven't seen a mini bow in for ever! They were all the rage when I started nano reefing :)

It took a little work to find this one about a year ago. I saw another reefers thread who had this tank and I just had to find one. Sadly, they don't make these anymore.

A few updates. I've bought two frags and a small CUC (two turbos and 4 red tip hermits). Please excuse the white balance. My Galaxy s4 doesn't seem to have a lot to help here.

The frags are red people eaters and some non-name orange & speckled palys.

Total price from the receipts is $32.35 so far.

Please let me know if I'm doing something incorrectly for the competition.

Nothing new right now. I'm thinking of ordering a surface skimmer in the future for the Aquaclear once I have an ato.

I still haven't decided on fish either.

I'm using an ocean revive led unit that I had previously used on another tank. It's a bit overkill, but works really well for me.

Was there something else you meant specifically?

No. I have a 36 bow front now and I just picked up a 12x12x12 rimless cube yesterday and I plan on doing a smaller reef tank and don't know much about lighting for the smaller tanks and I've heard that MH or fluorescent is better than LED. But I don't think using my MH light will bode well on this small tank so I'm thinking about picking up a LED light but I don't know which one or where to begin.
