So real quick background on our family... My son was born blind, so we have been learning braille.
One day I was staring at my zoa tank and looking for "braille letters", kind of like when you stare up at clouds and find shapes and stuff...lol.
So that gave me the idea to (attempt to) frag single polyps and glue them together to create braille cells...

these are the braille cells for "reef"
fingers crossed!

I also added some ricordea mushrooms which are nice and bumpy lol:nerd:

Decided to add the acans we bought a few weeks ago... the receipt is in my second post... one was 24.99 the other was a free frag... not sure if it counts as free or if I need to use ***... either way they make a nice addition to the over all tank
Ill have to sit down and do the math....

so three little kenya trees popped up... two 1/2 inch ones right on top of my rock and the 1 inch one is hiding in the back... not sure yet if Im going to keep them or not, depends on what the FMV is... if its not much they can stay.

Also added my "r"
164447d1406051683-braille-90-build-1.gif
used clementine zoas (i think that's their name).

And lastly we had a bunch of blue/purple mushrooms in our zoa tank... they're covering one of the rocks... so we removed some of the tiny baby ones and stuck them in an old coral skeleton along with a tiny ricordea yuma... waiting to hear back on the FMV on the new additions...

My little pico tank had quite the salinity spike though and my monti digi is done for :( every thing else seems to be doing okay now... Also my husband bought a small eagle eye colony at petco back on the 5th... he wanted to frag it so its in his frag tank and he s giving me the larger piece ... receipt is below...$12.99

Bought a cheap Chinese LED light to replace the HOT5s its not too shabby...
I also did two 50% water changes this past week and added some more mangroves to the HOB filter...
My Monti digi started to die when we were at the hospital and it was too late to save it :( so I stuck some chaeto on it and glued my free Acan to it...
then I acclimated the eagle eyes that we fragged from petco. and the blasto ( I stole it from my 75 gallon... our urchin knocked it off weeks ago and I never glued it back on so... now its in the little tank :))
I think Im done... with a grand total of $430...
