Thanks guys, it was tough to come home to Sunday and clean out the tank. The wife and I loved those fish and their personalities.

Did a water change last night, going to check params tonight and head to the LFS Wednesday if all works out to begin rebuilding.

Picked up our new clowns tonight.

Both came from Sustainable Aquatics

Things are well.

Other then a few snails being consumed by the hermits everyone is alive and thriving. We picked up a cleaner shrimp about a month and a half ago.

Considering where to go next, I want to get another Zoa frag and maybe a small goby to finish out the fish stock.

Just got this zoa frag, has a few different color polyps on it, figured it was time to start down this path again since the crash wiped out the zoa we had

I like your setup. Could you tell me what brand of outdoor spotlight holders you're using and where you got them? I was interested in trying something similar. Thanks

Well the tank is still up and running. Our cleaner shrimp went missing one day never to be heard from again. The 2 clowns and sunrise dottyback are still doing great tho. I have recently had a bad infestation of Hair algae. The Zoanthid got overrun and after dipping in peroxide seems to be on its way to recovery. The rest of the tank is ugly tho, Just ordered a phosphate test kit, some BRS GFO to put in a media bag in my Aquaclear filter (I know it's not as good as a reactor but the tank is getting a bit crowded) and a Spectrapure RO/DI as I am sure the walmart distilled I've been using since my LFS closed is contributing.

I also added another power head to get more flow

Believe they were just from a bin in the electrical department at Lowes for a couple of bucks.

An update on the tank for anyone still following. Our black clown vanished a couple of months ago, can't find any sign of him. Orange clown and the dottyback are still doing great. Our favorite LFS closed due to the owner moving to Fuji and it had a negative effect on my tank. My clean up crew completely died off and I haven't gone out to another LFS to replace them. I'm sure thats not helping my GHA problem. I've also gotten lazy with waterchanges and have been letting it go 4-5 weeks, also not helping with GHA.

Last night I grabbed a toothbrush and pulled some of the rocks out and scrubbed them down good and the rocks I couldn't remove got scrubbed in tank. Going to try to stick to 1 gallon weekly water changes to hopefully get the GHA issue under control. Going to start rebuilding a CUC and then looking for a replacement fish once the issues are under control.

Before and after pics.

Good job cleaning the tank up.
Your light fixture is awesome! I like how you hid the wires and painted it black.

Thanks, not being able to find a decent PAR38 stand that didn't attach to the ceiling made the wife and I brain storm a different solution, has been working well.

Threw some Chemipure Blue in on Friday

This quick crew ships today from reef cleaners, hopefully I am on the way to getting the tank back under control.
