Heres another small update. First the reference picture to when I first got the frags. This time comparing frags #7 and 3.

numberedsps_zps972d95ed.jpg

Frag #7 is a Pink Lemonade, 3-4 months of growth, good encrusting and a bit of outward length.

Better view of the background here, this is my Copps Hulk Milli (from the man himself) and a baby frag of the same that broke off the day it arrived to its left. Getting some awesome green color on it. #3 in the first photo, hard to compare growth on this one but where its green is where it seems to be growing.

Well I've been gone since last Wednesday at a FW Discus show in Texas. Had someone feeding my tank while I was gone. Came back and the tank is a mess, lots of algae on the glass and aptasia popping up everywhere but honestly the corals have never looked better color wise. I guess the nutrients in the water are helping along with the fish poop. Gotta clean the tank but growth seems to be speeding up and like I said, color is really popping.

Working on the Aptasia, it'll be gone soon! Heres an update. I guess this is about 2 months of growth.

Thanks! I hope I do have the reef thumb. This is my second go round, I've slowed things down considerably and I feel like I'm reaping the benefits now. Can't wait to see it fully grow in!

Heres my Blenny, currently the only fish in the tank. I need some more fish I think, just haven't decided on what. You can see some of the aptasia problem in this pic and those stupid green polyps that are impossible to get rid of. I have some Berghia Nudibranch on the way to me to help with the aptasia issue and I have some left over Joe's Juice to zap any they may miss.

Added a group of Berghia Nudibranch this morning from Reef Town. First and foremost they came in great, packing was excellent so thumbs up to Reef Town. Secondly WOW, I put them in the tank near some aptasia and instantly they go on the hunt. The only way I can equate it is like a pack of wolves or pride of lions going after a buffalo. One carefully approaches to not get stung, takes that first bite and the aptasia basically collapses and the feeding frenzy is on. Can't wait to see them make their way around the tank doing this.

Short Angels and Demons frag update. Wanted to show off the polyp extension and growth. Quick 20secs, watch HD for better quality! I have more videos of other frags I will hopefully be posting tomorrow!

Thanks. I shoot with a Canon 5D Mk II. 100mm macro lens or 24-105mm depending on the shot.

So I put some Berghia Nudis in not to long ago. Of course they disappeared in a day but I noticed a few of my larger Aptasia have magically disappeared so I'm hoping the Nudis are enjoying the feast and being fruitful in the rocks. I'm juicing a few of the aptasia myself, trying to keep them under control but leave the nudis something to eat. Trying to rid the rocks of them before I start gluing frags down. However I feel like its time to get some new coral....someone stop me ;)

Heres another video (watch in HD of course). All of these really short videos are just workups to hopefully a longer more cinematic type video later on. I guess you can only watch polyp extension for so long, I'll include other stuff eventually lol.
