Thanks, work in progress and still growing. Loving the polyp extension I'm seeing.

Looks like someone had a good Cherry Corals order. Tank is looking great! Mind sharing what you have inside the AquaClear and what your maintenance is?

Thanks all!

what kind of camera are you using for those shots, great !!

Canon 5D Mark II with either a 100mm macro or 24-105mm lens.

I've had many good CC orders haha, have a gift cert for them waiting to be used for yet another order too, soon! By far one of my favorite vendors. In the Aquaclear is an InTank Media Basket one chamber holding the heater, another chamber that's empty at the moment (where I have put Chemipure before or some type of bag media) and the top chamber holding a piece of blue poly filter floss. Maintenance is usually run the magnet over the glass daily or every other day (minus the back glass) and roughly a 15-20% WC weekly depending on how the tank looks at the time. I rinse out or change the filter floss every 3 days. I dose acropower daily anywhere from noon to 5ish, dose two part daily in the evening, and feed some reef roids generally every other day or so again depending on how the corals and tank are looking and that takes place in the late evening as well. Getting fish soon so I'm sure it will change a little bit with those additions and feeding of the fish.

Well just pulled the trigger on some fish. A tailspot blenny and Tanaka's Pygmy wrasse are going to be on their way to me soon via Live Aquaria's Diver Den section. The wrasse is a blemish fish, knocked the price down almost to around 50% for a small chunk out of his tail, shouldn't affect it much. Will look at other fish at a later date.

Well good news and bad news. Good news is the fish came, bad news is the Wrasse was DOA. Blenny is doing fine. I guess the wrasse just don't ship as well as others? At any rate, called up Live Aquaria and got a refund, easiest and best customer service I've experienced really took not even 5mins.

Guess this means I need to go fish shopping again.

Amazing photos! So you're just letting the frags sit for now and dosing them until they reach the size you want, then you'll arrange them more specifically?
Can't wait to see what your tank will look like in a few months :]

Thanks. Sorta. I wanted to make sure I had flow in the tank and lighting right where it needs to be before I put the frags on the rock more permanently. Kinda gave me an idea of where they like to me level wise in the tank. I think they are ready to be attached full time now, just going to clip the point off the plug and glue the plugs to the rock I think.

I'm excited about it, can't wait until I have small colonies! I see new growth daily.

Going to keep this in mind for future setups with a group of frags like this (big fan of acros as well :] )
How long would you say you've had them in the tank, and how much growth you've had since you put them in?
Wondering what the optimal amount of time would be for them to get a nice growth spurt going :]

I saw signs of growth very soon after I got them, then a dip due to me trying to dial in lights/flow/feeding etc. Now I'm noticing them encrust more and more every few days/week. I'm in the stage of seeing lots of encrusting almost off of the plugs, that's why I want to go ahead and get them on the rocks. Just as a small comparison, here is a picture of a lot of the frags when I first got them back at the end of Feb. So 3-4 months of growth and being in the tank give or take? Some of them are more recent from CC live sale.

Notice the Green Slimer branches here and compare them with the pics above. Red Planet is #4 in the before with zero encrustation and its actually even more now than that picture above. I need to take a new photo of #7 pink lemonade frag after they perk back up (did a WC and they aren't totally happy atm), its almost completely covered its plug now. The Rainbow Table is going nuts as well, spilling over its plug onto the frag rack.
