Hello everyone. I just purchased a Hydor Flo for my Oceanic BC 14. None of the adaptors that came with it even remotely fit the output. Help!!

I read that teflon tape would work, but really? How much tape did you use? Because of the lip on the output I cannot find even one adaptor that will insert more than maybe 2/3 of the way? And even then they are very loose. Did you wrap the adaptor in the teflon and then just force it in, even though it won't go in all the way? Is that enough to hold it?

I'm a girl trying to DIY - so if anyone has pics, please share. Maybe I am overthinking this. Ugh!! Very frustrated right now.

Time for a beer.

PS I have cross posted this on multiple sites so forgive if you see this more than once.

I just ordered one for my biocube 14. What's the solution? Hoping to avoid any install problems when it arrives.
