Hey everyone this will be my SPS dominant reef. Equipment is as follows
-29 gallon Biocube HQI
-150 watt halide lighting
-MP10 for circulation
-Neptune Apex for control

Tank is currently cycling here's a few early pictures.

Currently there is a WP10 in the tank it will be switched with the MP10 in my frag tank. Thanks for following along more pics to follow. Apex is on its way from UPS once I have it set up and play with it I'll add some pictures.

Hey Terry whats up that looks sharp. you have total control over any bad hitchhiker mantises with that approach. if I could start my reef that clean id simply keep out the standard red mushroom corals then id be ok today

are you going with phosphate controls, whats your algae plan

btw

first halide tank ive seen in a long time. i still use it for my planted tanks mh is always great i just fan the heat nbd

Thanks. As far as phosphate control it's going to have a fairly low bio load, so that with regular water changes should keep everything in check. I didn't mention it but I have an aqua euros nano skimmer on it. Not the best of skimmers but it has served me well on past nano tanks.

A piece from my LFS A Reef Creation check them out under vendors. Currently in the frag tank but definitely a DT worthy piece.

Nice thing about a coral QT tank is I feel no rush to get them into the DT.
