Looks great! I really like the look of the rounded corners.

Gorgeous tank!!

Thanks fellow hobbyist.

This is an Acropora Formosa, I have only had one other along time ago. I love the coralite structures, fast grower, but does not show a lot of pe, just tiny little polyps. Any first hand tips regarding care are appreciated.

Still leaning how to take images under blue LEDS, night shots. Forgive the blue but it makes the coral pop (never thought I would post that).

I'm not sure if this is more like it in real life, but I tried to white balance it for you.. you have a great looking tank!

Well dang that looks wonderful, thank you I appreciate it. Under the blue LED's it's a brilliant yellow, under whites/mixed it's a cream with blue tips. I'll figure out this image taking under LED's eventually. Thank you for the compliment, tank is getting there, it'll be nicer when the coralline shows up.

Subscribed+ I am messing with my DSLR present as well. Here are some I took right after reading that guide. Pretty quick learning curve. Altered white balance, shutter speed, aper, and ISO. I would say the biggest difficulty is keeping it from getting grainy with high ISO settings.

Oh very nice Fishphi, is that your current tank?

And yes this "I would say the biggest difficulty is keeping it from getting grainy with high ISO settings", is my current issue.

LEDs are definitely more of a challenge to take images under, I am learning. For every 300 images I get one good one.:eek:hwell:

That image of the A. Formosa I posted is one of the fastest growers under the LEDS, but I expect to be fiddling for months slowly trying to get the colors I want.

You're too kind. Yes, it is my current tank. Here is another shot. I really want to perfect my camera skills; you can see so much detail.

Received a Hanna Checker Alk, liking it very much, once I figure it out. Received a frag pack from Battlecorals, thank you Adam. :high5:

Got some new tank algae going on, I am going to wait it out for now, just received my cuc and the Cerths seem to really like this type of filament algae.

Pink Skunk Clowns from iBluewater arrive tomorrow, thank you Bob. :high5:

Ordered the Tunze 6040 Controllable Pump, and the Tunze Osmolator 3152. I have seen good reviews on both.
