Nice. I'm not brave enough to do anything that small yet.

It really hasn't been that bad. That might be partially because my total bio load is 3 rock flower anemones and 1 actinia nem, but I have a hard time keeping this tank dirty enough. You can also run a good amount of purigen/ carbon for the tanks size and still not break the bank. I've been cutting back on that though since the the water seems almost too clean. Not sure how things would be if I added a small goby or something though

The evaporation is what really scares me. I'm not horribly worried about water quality since I'm anal about that and keep it perfect (though I would probly have a yellow clown goby because I need a fish lol)

I know you've got an automatic top off but I don't like that I couldn't hide it.

Yeah that's definitely a disadvantage of the set up. Pretty excited to upgrade eventually and have a sump to hide the ato and make water changes easier than on this canister filter.

You've still got an amazing tank so I shall maintain my jealousy lol. Maybe one day I'll decide to be brave and go for it with some cheaper frags
