Okay my frog spawn was recently in the middle of my tank on a rock and my GBTA decided to park himself about and 1.5" from my frog spawn. My frog spawn has been growing like crazy and absolutely beautiful.
Now since yesterday it looks bad. The arms hang down instead of reaching up and swaying. I think I saw one that was by his mouth that was just hanging on by a thread. He is more Brown and light green when he was almost blue and. Neon green. I thought it was too much flow cuz his arms would all push back to the same direction and couldn't stretch up. Its a new power head so I moved him to the side of the tank where the flow is low/mod. He is droopy. His arms are not as inflated as they used to but the body looks well inflated.
So could my GBTA have stung him to make him so ick looking or was the flow too much causing damage to his flesh?.. He retracts well and extends well except for inflating and reaching up... I need help it's my fav.
And yes my params. Are all good ammonia- 0 nitrite-0 ph-8.2 to 8.3 nitrates-5ppm SG- 1.023
The first picture was about a week or 2 ago when he was eating.. That's how he normally looked nice and plump and bright minus the gaping mouth lol
The second picture was about 2 days ago when I noticed there might be a little too much flow. His arms are down and more tapped apart.
Now I won't have a pic till I. The morning but he is deflated even more than the second picture and almost looks bald cuz the arms are so skinny..
Help me
Third pic was on 10/14
