Hey guys quick question, I was given a 20g long Terrarium. I know its a terrarium because unlike a tank the black plastic doesn't sit flat all the way around. For lack of better words its like it has feet. Can I use this for a sump on my 40g breeder build I'm working on. Will these feet things cause stress to the glass on the bottom? If so could i take the black plastic trim off and set it on a foam pad? Just trying to be able to use whats free in this awesomely expensive hobby lol. I know so many questions but thanks in advance!

Couldn't figure out how to turn it I put a marker in the gap created by the trim I was talking about

I would do a water test for a week and see if it leaks. If not add some more caulk to be safe and you should be okay

Thanks for the responses guys...i'm going to play it safe and just not use it the glass is much thinner then a 20g long aquarium. I would rather not find out the hard way
