Skimmer came today!!! Coralife 65 super skimmer, I got it set up correctly (I think) just making sure the motor thing goes in the water correct? And any help on breaking it in? I know if you don't do it right it can be bad

It's a pretty solid skimmer all around. I have the larger model, but it is the same design. I don't know that it really needs a whole lot of 'break-in' though. Mine worked pretty well out of the box. I would consider one small modification though. Many people put a small valve in line air line between the silencer and the pump. It will allow you to fine tune the air going into the pump. Mine seemed to benefit greatly from throttling back the air just a tiny bit.

You want to try and keep them in the lower portion of the neck itself.
