I am almost ready to start cycling my water. The only problem is I don't have lights or a slimmer because I am saving up for them. But when I do have a slimmer and my tank is cycled can I get a pair of clownfish and my cleanup crew without lights ? Or will they get too shocked when I finally get the lights

Honestly, if your trying to save your money for lights why spend it on clownfish? Could you put the clownfish in there with just lighting from the room they were in? Yes. Would i do it? No. The less money you spend on fish the more youll have for lights

Not trying to step on toes, but I had clowns for a few weeks before I purchased my radion led. I acclimated the light to the tank for a couple weeks and they seem to be ok. I have never run without a skimmer though.
