I wouldn't know where to begin with sexing these fish. As far as i know there is no difference in appearance with males and females.

I know but do they ever sorta pair off when they are in groups like that? I mean I have never been able to observe a group of helfrichs before.

Of all the times we have had them in the facility... No matter the quantity in the tank, they all stick together. I've never witnessed two that branch off from the group.

These guys have been on the site for a couple days now. I've shipped out 9 of them since then. If you order within the next 3-4 hours i can ship them out tomorrow for a Friday morning delivery.

I haven't experienced them being more or less hardy then other file fish. They are a soft body fish and very delicate. All are eating pellets & mysis here at the facility.

How did the other 9 do btw? All made it during shipping? I'm just a little gun shy with these guys because I ordered a pair from Live Aquaria and they both disappeared within a week or so. However, they are extremely beautiful and I want to try them again.

the only Anthias i have enough to make a harem is Bartlett. I got singles of cooper, olive, lyretail, etc... Nothing in numbers at the moment.

Just curious but were these from the Marshall Islands? Any idea how deep they were caught from?
