Share your Duncan's with me! I have become quite attached to mine. It's grown from a little polyp up to about 7 heads in 4 months.

I got it in a trade and have only seen a few locally for extreme prices. They are not as exuberant as my specimen though. The flesh is pink pink and the green iris is very bright. I have even fragged it a couple times all successfully

Here he is.

I couldn't get the top polyp to look at me. The diameter of the largest polyp is 4 inches in the picture. The small ones do not get the bright green until they start to point upward more. The amounts of purple in comparison to te lfs have a lot to do with my color I thing

They are probably the easiest Lps I know of. Bottom if the tank and under the power head. Gives it a random swirl effect. I feed it regular coral food generally but I have popped the meat from a frozen clam out and thawed it and it ate the whole thing! Literally doubled in size after digestion. It only will eat about one a month though.

Mine have grown quickly as well. I started with about 5 heads and have well over 40 big head and a ton of babies now just about a year and a half later.

All great Duncan's. I can't wait til mine gets huge. I don't see it croaking any time soon.

Do you find that they like more actinic or more daylight ?

Here's a pic of mine .... with new heads growing. Like the look of yours, nice long polyp extension for sure ... but sometimes they are thin and long and sometimes they are short and ticker ..
