What kind of lens did you use for these pictures?
These were taken with Canon Powershot S5 IS, pretty basic camera honestly. I switch between Macro, Super Macro and normal modes depending on coral location, no additional lenses.

Neat! is the black background photoshopped?
This tank has a painted on black background. Some of the corals can be shot with just the background seen behind coral. No crazy PS, slight color correction.
