This month's subject is: Brain Corals (Favias, Favites, Platygyra, Goniastrea, Tracyphyllia, etc. Open or closed brains will count).



Submission deadline is 12:01 am Central time, July 20th 2014 (Entries after the deadline will be removed)

Please read the following rules to avoid disqualification,

--The photo must be of your reef, shot by you, and posted to the threads by you.
--Will also accept actual reef photos shot by you (i.e. in the ocean).
--One entry per person. Multiple entries will be thrown out altogether.
--Photo must not have been a winner in a previous POTM contest.
--Broken links, multiple entries or off subject photos will be disqualified for voting.
--Winner will be determined by Reef2Reef Premium Member voting.
--In order to qualify to win the Avast Marine Porthole you must like the Avast FB Page here.
--In case of a tie, the Mod Team will assist in picking a winner.
--Rules, deadlines and terms are subject to change at staff discretion at anytime if needed.

The winner will receive The POTM Winner Logo, a year's free premium membership, and an Avast Marine Porthole courtesy of Avast Marine!:)

My brain coral

I found this brain at a lfs with a huge hole in it, I had to save it. 4 months later it's doing great, and even had a buddy. The brain is now about9-10 inches in diameter...
