I like the idea of the overflow on the end. My used 220 I will be setting up was originally used as a peninsula tank viewable on 3 sides but I will have it against a wall in a corner with the overflow in the corner and I have to build my own stand so I maybe borrowing some ideas...

3/4" glass.....good luck moving that beast!

I'm super excited about this tank!! I've been fantasizing about a rimless with similar dimensions and a side overflow for a while now. I can't wait to see this come to fruition in the hands of THE SunnyX!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions on the tank, I really appreciated it. I have put the deposit down on the tank today so its a done deal.

Here is what I am getting:

    Custom Aquarium:
    Rimless 72x36x22
    Starphire front
    3/4" glass all around
24" external overflow on right end panel with removable black insert.
    2 holes in overflow, 1 @ 1-3/4" and 2-1/2" for 1" and 1-1/2" bulkheads.

The tank should be here in about 6 weeks. Time to build the stand!!!

Ok, I am getting things together for my new stand and looking for some ideas. The new stand will be tiled as the last one, but I want to make a few changes as well.

Anyone have a nice stand build or pictures they would like to share?

I wont need any doors for the stand. The stand will only be for decoration and to hold the tank. The plumbing will run from the tank into another room.
