Sometimes reef animals can make you want to pull your hair out.

Today a turbo snail has parked itself between a power head and the left glass panel causing a buzzing/vibrating noise all day long (from the powerhead's vibration being transmitted through the snail shell and onto the glass panel).

What do your critters do that makes you mad?

I have a Halloween crab that always moves an acan to be perilously close to a plate coral. Within 15 minutes of the acan being moved back the crab will do that again... OCD crab

Good thread!

My seahorses like to play hide and seek, especially when I am running late and doing my morning checks. Yes, they have made me late for work.

My Sailfin Tang will not allow any corals close to his "condo". He wants it clean and bare. If I put a coral close to his lair, he knocks it over and out of the way as soon as I walk away. I can put it back 20 times, but 20 times he will knock it away...argh!!! He also picks up snails and hermits and moves them to the other side of the tank...that's cute though.

C'mon, I can't be the only one with a helpful zebra...lol. Actually when I first got him, he killed one turbo. When he realized he was a little cramped in the snail shell, he now just mowes over them and goes on his way.

+1 I hate hermits.

I only have ONE blue leg and it has killed a margarita and my prize bright orange chestnut snail. :(

I have its orange shell up on a rock now and I pretend its alive. LOL

My pistol shrimp has some kind of vendetta against my zoa garden and covers them all in sand. Won't touch any other coal that sits in the sand, just the zoas... :(

Hermits only in frag tank and sump. I use to have a hippo tank that would pick frags out of rack and drop them around tank if I forgot to feed nori everyday.

No hermits in display. They are ok for frag tank and sump.

My black cap basslet is constantly picking up frag plugs with zoas on them and moving them to the back of the tank under his rock where he hides out. Drives me crazy
