Want to start a reef club local to Sarasota and Bradenton areas. Anyone

Would like to start a local reef club in the Sarasota and Bradenton, FL. areas.

I'm in if I get to move back to Sarasota in the next few months. I didn't like having to make the drive for the meetings in Tampa when I lived there last time. If it's a thing when I move back count me in.

Where u at now?.. i deal with a few lfs here i could possibly get one to sponser the club. Not sure tho, ive only been in the hobby for a year and a half. Fir the most part im self taught done everything on my own and learn along the way. I have a 55g with about 10g invested. Nothing fancy bare min. With alot of corl.

Tank is mainly z/p's, but its a mixed reef just started getting into sps. Everything is frags i havnt bought one colony . Everything is imini colonies inow. Gonna move in a few months si havnt really glued anything diwn yet. I figured it would be easier to move the tank the way. Ill take some pics this weekend and share them

I suggest you start a Facebook page and start inviting the ones that replied to this thread and your friends. Post an ad on craigslist so locals see it. It will start to branch out as you get more members and they invite their friends ...etc

You beat me to it! Reef2Reef can be your club's home which will give you a place to direct people. Then make up some posters with a QR code link directly to your forum. If you make it, they will come!
