They will starve and die off. You have to get every scrap of monti out of the tank though.

Nudibranchs cover a lot of ground, they will definitely find anything that they eat in an aquarium. If there isn't anything that they eat in there, most are very specific as to what they eat, then they will die in about two weeks. One problem with this is that they are also very prolific at laying eggs, too. But if the new hatchlings don't have anything to eat they will quickly die too. Most nudibranchs only have a longevity of about one year.

So in a Month they should all be Dead?

After I take out all Montipora.

Then they Die in 2 Weeks.

Wait two Weeks after that for the Eggs to Die too for a total of 1 Month.

Then is it safe to put Montipora Back in?

I am worried they will be Hungry and eat my Chalices Next.

Is that at all Possible?

Yes, the chances that they might eat the Chalices too are pretty good.

I am Confused so which is it?

You tell me that they will eat my Chalices.

Everyone else tells me they eat Montipora and Montipora Only.

These are the White Montipora Eating Nudibranch's that I am talking about here. Very Specific.

I've never hear that Montipora eating nudibranches will eat any other corals even your chalices, if you'll get ride of your montis they will steve and die.
You can also get ride of them using Salifert flatworm exit in double (triple) dose this is how I killed all of them in my system not moving my corals.

Interesting I have not heard of that.

What else does that kill though?

Won't it kill all your Copepods and Animals that live in the Live Rock?

Well I can't answer your question about killing pods, I didn't think about it treating my tank from nudis but if my system recovered after interceptor treatment (for red bugs) and I have millions of pods I don't think so flatworm exit is worst.

Is there any other dips commercially on the market that rids Monti eating FW?
Have not had much success with flatworm exit on them, perhaps as a dip?
I did see: Bornemans note about potassium permanganate 50 mg/l 30-90 min

The coral came from your new tank store that had alleged to pre-treat all corals with it.
Perhaps he has changed formulation since then.

Yellow Corris, Hmmmmmm
