I just received this coral dip from a company called ME Corals.

I will be performing a dip later today when my coral shipment arrives. I originally was going to do the Bayer treatment but the owner said I would still get the same effect. I will post pictures or a video once I complete the treatment.

Wish me luck.

I picked up a bottle of this at CoralCon this past weekend. Followed the directions, 10mls per cup and dipped my corals. Everytime I use Bayer, I'm googling to see what the dose is as I don't buy coral too often.

I wonder if this stuff washes the dirt off the rocks as well or not. Given, the instructions said gently. I blasted it all!

The bottom of my tubs looked the same way while I was dipping. I half dosed mine just to be safe and had the same results as I stated in the first sentence. Coral pics will come later today.

Just an update. I reinspected for pests and unless I'm blind I can say I'm pest free. Only corals that were struggling were the ones that the the water leaked out the bag during shipment.

Actually there were no bugs. But I did get about 12 acro crabs, a panda goby, and 3 pistol shrimps before I dipped. As for polyp extention, none to Actually report. I found out the dKh the corals were in were around 10 dKh and mine was at 8.5 dKh so they may be in shock. But here are some picks of the corals now as they look.

I have used this dip and it works great! The active ingredient is the same as bayer complete which I and many people have been using for years with great success! What do others dip in?

Coral Rx, Revive, or whoever has the next best thing going.

does this still kill monti eating nudi EGGs? Still looking for something that does that :(
No sir it won't. They say there is a dip out there like that but it still hasn't been proven yet. I scrape off all eggs if they're visible or better yet break off the plug where you'll usually find the eggs.

yah.. i do that but it sucks. I'm an importer and wholesaler.. some of my Indo shipments have over 200 montis. I have to find a high school kid with good eye sight I guess... :)

Hoping a dip will come out soon that will take care of the eggs...

That dip you're referring to is either made in Germany or Canada. I mean the store that sells that product. This is a writeup on a large forum(I'm pretty sure you know whom I'm referring to) on that product.

I'd find a high school kid whose into scraping eggs. You might not have to pay him. lolol

Good luck.

I use Coral Rx and then I dip into Flatworm exit to get rid of the flatworms. I then rinse, but I like the blasting idea, I will do that next. Nice looking coral by the way.
