Where do I find?

You click on "Forum" at the top of the page, and then scroll down to, and click on "Reef chemistry with Randy Holmes-Farley". Then you click on the "New topic" button, I think it is called, and post your question. Each type of discussion on this web site has an appropriate forum to post it in. Here is a link:

How old is your tank? please only count the years your current DT has been up and running.

I am curious and thought it would be interesting for others as well. Ive heard of one reefer who has had the same tank of for ?30? years

I think the tank your talking about belongs to Paul B. His is just over 40 years old I think. Pretty awesome tank too.

Six months... starting to see growth. Still have a few gaps and want to remove a piece to add an acan colony and another zoa colony. Only bolstering the cleaning crew from now on though.

Nearly 10 years .....

Started dec 2004 with salt water - my first seawater tank, no water changes since the beginning.
Till end 2011 - mayorly stocked with softcorals, LPS, and a few SPS
from jan2012 - i started stocking it with all corals i could get my hands on mayorly LPS/SPS (mostly frags about 3-5cm height).
now - i have 180 specie in this tank all doing just fine.

Tank dimensions: 250cm lenght, 80cm width, 59cm water height 1180Liter net. volume (310 us gallons)
total system with connecting tanks 1700 liter (450 us gallons)

This is today: (taken with a GoPro Hero3 camera, without any filters and no editing)
