Hey Daniel..... YES I DO....... it's time for me to get a little more real estate for both Fish and Coral so will be upgrading my 125g to somewhere around 175-187 gallons depending on how tall I build the new one. Need to make final decision soon so can order up the 3/4" acrylic material. New tank will be same 60" x 24" footprint to utilize all the current furniture and equipment but will increase height from the now 20" to 28-30" and will have an external Coast-to-Coast or a Ghost Overflow type drain system. This will eliminate the two 6x9 overflow boxes currently in there now. The external plumbing will be both good and bad as it will reduce mass/clutter within the stand but will also potentially increase noise levels and interfere with LED drivers I've situated on backside/dry side of stand. Now I need to find some plastic bins/tubs to eventually hold all the livestock during the changeover period. Andy asked if I was going to start a new build thread or just continue on my old one, believe I'll just continue since only on page 11 or 12 (38 pages behind Andy...... without water....lol)

Cheers, Todd

Well sort of. My current display has been invaded by hydroids that I cannot get rid of. So I am re-doing the display. Already sold all the corals. I have a 90g I am setting up in the basement to keep the fish and inverts while I bleach the display and spruce it up. Using tonga branch as the rock in the display, upgrading to an Apex controller. This aquascape is going to have a lot more front sand room for those bid fleshy LPS corals (scolys, brains) and clams.

The only thing I'm planning in doing is adding and algae scrubber. I would like to get the drop.2 from Santa Monica Filtration

Yeah, upgrading from 28 gallon to 80, 34x34x16. Hopefully i'm gonna end up running it with ATS and water changes only. And possibly the 35w gyre.

Just moved and working on major upgrade here. 220 moved and 90 replaced by 150 second tank. Both tanks plumbed to basement filter room pumped back up by Reeflo Tiger Shark. Chiller/heater, UV, skimmer, Apex gold, BRS 6 stage RODI. Updated lights on second tank to match main with Ecotech Marine xr30w pros.

Big plans....

My sink flooded taking out the wood floors in my family room. This forces me to move my tank onto the new floor. What better time to upgrade? Swapping out my 110XT for a 135 cube. The new display measures 36x36x24H. The new tank comes with a larger sump and I purchased a Vertex Omega 180i to handle the additional volume.... My existing lights should (cross my fingers) be adequate for the new footprint. The reduced depth won't hurt. Going from 31" deep to 24" deep.

Unfortunately, we cannot put up a tree until the new floors and tank are in place.

Upgrading from 40 to 100 gallons. Or just adding a 100 gallon to the existing 40... ;)
