wondering for those of you that have the innovated viewing portal is it worth the money it cost I'm sure its cool for sure when you 1st get it but after a week do you still use it , and is it good for pictures and finding pest ?

i have one, and yes, i still like it after several months. For some reason, it does nothing when taking pictures (pictures aren't magnified). Probably something w/ lenses through lenses and perhaps something w/ my phone auto-focus/zoom.

In any case, that's not what i use it for. My clowns regularly breed, and it's really cool to watch the progression of the eggs. It also makes my clowns look gigantic which is pretty comical when looking at the tank from afar.

Yes, it would be good for locating/identifying pests as well.
