Hey All -

how do I get rid of those stupid purple snowflakes that spread like weeds all over my rocks?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks amigos and amigas!

If you are talking about coralline algae, you don't. Also why would you want to?
No I am def not talking about that. I am talking about the super small little "mini flowers" .. they are purple and spread all over the rocks and basically make all my live rock look like it is covered in small purple fuzz almost. I can post a pic obviously if I am not being clear enough ...

Blue clove polyps? I think fluke tabs will rid your system of them.

Yup thats exactly what they are doing .. I am reading that thread now as well -- very helpful. Just to make sure, when you added the fluke tabs did you turn your skimmer off? I am wondering if I should not run that as well as my gfo when I add them

I put some some epoxy over some small patches the other day.
You can also try Kalk paste.
I have a large patch though that I'm going to need to do something about.
Was looking into that Fenbendazole stuff.
I believe some cuc can be affected too.
