I'm having an issue with brown algae, it's on the decline but wondered if not feeding would help..
Basically I'm really unsure as feel it is a bit mean...
But would it help with getting all the crap out while putting nothing new in..
And how long could I not feed for without hurting the fish.
I have 7 chromis, 3 clowns, 2 engineer gobies, royal gramma, 2 Angels, a Pink spot goby and a small Anenome..
Total water vol inc dump is around 250 litre and a LOT of live rock and a good few soft corals.
All are healthy and no other issues apart from the brown algae.
I have VectronUV, BM E3 skimmer, 3 big powerheads.
I've done water changes, but my RODI unit isn't so quick so I tend to do 25-50 litre changes but doesn't seem to be making a difference on the algae.
