    BRS bio pellets

Well i checked BRS today and was surprised to notice they carry bio-pellets now, they even have a reactor and cartridge made for them. Has anyone tried the BRS brand bio pellets by any chance?

I have one thing to say I expected this at least for them to come out with a reactor but kudos to them!

yes me too..because i know people were trying their BRS reactor for the pellets but the sponges were getting clogged easily. They removed it and replaced it with a better, mesh? pad for maximum flow of the pellets. But i was never expecting them to make their own brand pellets...

I'm using them, but I just started my tank so no info yet about them. The reactor works well, they have a mesh in the bottom and top, and it keeps them tumbling great.

I have a dual reactor from BRS..I have modded it to run as separate chambers, one running BRS pellets that also feeds my recirc skimmer. They have been tumbling for a couple months now. I started out with about a third of the recommended dosage, just went to 3/4 recommended dosage 2 days ago. I am getting a bit of algae on my rocks but Im not certain that is the pellets as opposed to normal new tank syndrome...I will say my water is crystal clear
