Corals and fish need different levels of water flow. Some like more, some like less but they all need it to a certain degree. We also need flow in the tank to keep detritus and other debris from settling in spots in our tanks and setting up a factory for bad algae and other coral and fish harming factors!

Whether it's a pump, powerhead, wave maker, or any other device the fact remains that we need water flow!

So what is your chosen method to keeping the juices flowing in your aquarium?

I have a single Dart with an OM 4 way for water circulation other than my returns. No powerheads or cables of any sort inside the tank.

2x old school Koralia 4's. I'm going to hate the day when they kick the bucket...I hate the new Koralia Evolutions.

On my 200g there's a Reeflo Barracuda pushing water from the basement valved back to about 1500 gph at 15' of head pressure. In the tank there are three Koralia Mag 6's. Creates great surface turbulence and polyp movement.

Two MP40s, two MP10s, and penductors on my return powered by a QuietOne 6000. I also plan to add another MP40 or an MP60 in the future, if the tank budget allows it.
