Wouldn't it be benefitial to all if Reefbreeders would simply post the PAR readings of it's light fixtures? I know they can't get readings for every type of tank out there, but if they took them for some standard sized tank like a 75g or 50g and at different intensities like 50%b - 40%w, 75%b - 60%w, 100%b - 80%w, then at least people would have soemthing to go on and it might help them sell more lights. Just saying.

Brinin up a dated thread here, but my DM132E lux reading when using my galaxy s5. I have it set to 100% blue and white and I got a reading of 48000 lux.

Awesome! Thanks man. So is it safe to say that if I'm running my lights at 70% intensity, that the PAR reading will be 70% of the value you provided at the corresponding depth?

Yes, with the Photons and SuperLux. They dim digitally so the readings will be consistant down to 10% power. The Value fixture is not quite as accurate, but you will be close with the knob.

Also, each channel puts out the same par, just about, so you can calculate the total even with differing ratios of white and blue.
