Are the new fixtures with legs going to have same layout as photons? Specifically the 48"

Yes, we will be keeping the same layout. The tank mounts will only work on the new light, they are not a kit that hooks up to the current systems.

Tried to place an order for the $50 saving on the new photon48. Says out of stock. How do I place the order?

The new version of the Photon 48 is similar to the current one, however it is a little bit shorter and has the same tank mounting legs as the SuperLux, so it can be mounted to the rim of any 4 foot tank with ease.

We plan on releasing them later this month when our shipment is in, which could be as soon as the 15th of December. We will then offer the new Photon 48 for the same price, with a coupon code for $50 that will be good for the first 2 weeks after release. Photos, specifications, and more information will be released after the new version goes on sale.
