Would you advice against adding trace elements in an ATO even though it's diluted?

What trace elements do you use? Some may oxidize in a diluted ATO.
I use the Red Sea Reef Care Program which includes the Reef Colors solutions. I will be gone for two weeks and I have my lights set for maximum growth but I don't want the traces to be absorbed at a fast rate by the sps why I am gone. My alkalinity and calcium has been dropping over the last few days which is indicating growth.

I would only add one mixture to the top off.

Some things, like iodide, may oxidize. In the case of iodide it can become iodate, which may be fine, but it is different.
Some things, like iron, may become less soluble.

I'm not sure exactly what is in those products.

how about using seperate doser pump for it?
That would be a total of 9 doser pumps just to do that. I only have 5 at the moment.

Thanks Randy. I also just referenced the faqs on Red Sea's site and saw a similar question which states the same response as yours.

wow, that is alot of dosoing. How often do you do the water change? Alot of trace elements can be replaced with frequent water change.

Glad they got it right. Not all companies understand their own products. :D
