So I need help calculating how much ALK I need to dose a day, my tank is roughly 160 gal total water volume, it drops the DkH .2875 a day. I am using sodium bicarbonate alkalinity solution. I need help to know what amount to set my doser at to get my ALK to stay constant.

You would need about 53 ml per day of a solution with koncentration of 400 g NaHCO3 in 5 liter water.

I just fallow the exact directions for the BRS Bulk Sodium Bicarbonate Aquarium Supplement on Bulk Reef Supply's website.

I fallow their directions for mixing it, so I don't know what the concentration is.

If you are certain you used sodium bicarbonate, that is my recipe #2 in the calculator.

BRS usually uses my Recipe #1 using sodium carbonate.

In either case, this calculator shows how much is needed for a particular boost:

Your alk usage is pretty low and may be susceptible to substantial measurement error, so watch the alk closely for a week or two after setting it up. :)
