They are all built exactly the same. They are all solid as can be.

Art, you need to raise the water level up, looks to be pretty broken in to me. Raise is about an inch and you should really start skimming. The foam will be forced up and pushed over easier.

No, i am still trying to get it adjusted right before i take a vid. It was skimming to wet the smorning when i got up. It has a massive foam head. Its a bit louder than the atman's but not bad at all. Its not fully broke in now so each time i mess with it the foam head collaples for a good two hrs. When it gets back i'll take a vid.

Will do Luke. should the air silencer be wide open? The noise isn't a factor at all regardless if it is open or closed. This thing is very quiet.

75 gallon w/40 breeder sump. Bioload is light right now because I never had a good skimmer. 4 fish which includes one yellow tang, some sps, lps, softies

Reefer10 - This is the swc 160 cone.

Keep the air valve all the way open. It works best all the way open.

Idono, seems like its been pretty good so far. If it gets even quieter it would be great. With my cabinet doors closed i can't hear it, and thats what matters to me.

Looks good man, looks like you could raise up the water now as there's some nice buildup around the bottom of the neck. These guys seem to break in quickly.

No mods. They are all stock. I mean i do a few things like add the pw on the 120, assemble some cone's, add unions....etc. But they pull what they pull. The 180 cone above in the vid is stock. It pulls around 38scfh at 23w.

Build is very nice. Everything is nice and sturdy, it actually came with instructions (unlike my old MSX250) which will be nice for some people. I'm presonally not going to read them at all, but after seeing how confused some people get on how to set these up it's defiitely a good idea to have them.

I can see a seam, but only when youre really looking for it. It's also really well placed behind the stand pipe so you dont even notice it. I'm really liking the dial on top to turn the wedge pipe, thats a much easier to work with design that trying to grip the wedge pipe itself to turn it. It's actually something I wouldnt mind seeing on my Alpha 170 Kone, but they have the air silencer up there.

Bubble plate looks like a real nice piece as well. So far it appears to be a great skimmer, let alone a $250 skimmer.

Have you found any need to dial back the air intake at all Luke ??? I dont forsee ever needing to, but would be curious why anybody would want to....

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be able to squeeze it under my brothers stand in 3 hours.

Luke, can you confirm my tracking number? It just keeps saying shipment not found.
